“Wonderful Place!”

Mariano and Rosa are wonderful people and excellent hosts. Extremely welcoming and friendly. They are from the area, super knowledgeable, happy to share their knowledge. I stayed in a 2nd floor room facing the backyard, and it was perfect. Very comfortable, very clean. The little town is charming, located a short walk to the coast, many beautiful beaches, endless coastal walking paths. Short walk also to a number of local bars and restaurants, all fantastic. Definitely a tourist destination, but also not overrun with tourists; still strong, unique local feel, which I appreciated. Most highly recommend a stay with Mariano & Rosa!

Very professional and accommodating host. Nice and beautiful view at the terrace. Bathroom is big. Easy check in. I would love to come back again.

“Cons: We have booked a double room of 24 square meters. We got the room of maximum 14 meters, there was even no place to put a suitcase. After we have complained we have received a large 2 bedroom apartment with kitchen. However, the problem has not stopped there - the electricity went off from 3 electrical appliances being turned on at the same time. It took an hour or so for owners to turn it back on. Then in came off again when 2 appliances were on. Owners started to blame us that we use too much electricity. However you should be able to turn on a heater and a toaster at the same time, isn't it? Next morning electricity went off again without us turning on anything. We decided to not stay there and left after the first night, although we paid for 2 nights. We have contacted the booking.com customer service from the very begining, but Booking.com was also useless and even has not refunded us 1 night we have not stayed.”

The best

Close to the sea. Very friendly host who lives close by. There is a fridge, a microwave and a toaster in the room. Comfortable bed.

To be improved

There was no kettle, no plates, no knives for eating, no coffee or sugar or salt - the little things that make staying in a place with no restaurant or open cafe much easier. I ate tuna out of a tin for my dinner, and could not make a hot drink. A kettle, a few sachets of coffee/sugar, a welcome bottle of water - these things make a huge difference when you are travelling without a car. If you are backpacking, come prepared!

“It has everything you need for a family holiday, great beaches and facilities at walking distance, and the owners are amazing hosts. We stayed in the attic which had 3 rooms and 2 WCs. Plus really nice views from the kitchen and living room.”
