Nothing - they were not accommodating

To be improved

They refused a pick up that they promise in their web site stating the woman was on holiday. Had I known that - I would not have booked. I could not walk the extra Kms to them. They suggested a taxi. I cancelled and they refused to credit me the stay. They were very rude and dismissive .

Nothing. This property is falsely advertised as being located in Palas de Rei. It is not. It is located 7,1 km from Palas de Rei which is nothing if you drive but a very long walk for pilgrims

“The brightest spot of this place was the young lady doing all the work. She did the laundry, cooking, cleaning, and maintenance. She brought us watermelon in our rooms. The room was clean. The shower had good heat and pressure. There was a large outdoor seating area with wooden picnic tables and umbrellas. The food at dinner was good. · Cons: There was no bar or restaurant in the albergue or nearby. If I had known that I might have brought them from the nearest town, but even if I had, there was no communal kitchen. They did provide cold water and water melon, but I would have paid to get more. The window in the room was difficult to figure out. This was important because it was very hot and stuffy and leaving the window completely open drew flies. A screen for the window would be nice. The path to the clothesline needs to be mown. The whole property needed to be mown in order to be useful for guests. There was a communal area, but no couch. It had some adequate seating areas on property, but it would be nice to be able to drink wine, beer, or cocktails. Recommendations: Hire one more staff member to help with dinner. Serve wine with dinner. Serve breakfast earlier. Install fans and screens. Mow all grass. Turn on the ceiling fan in the lobby. Serve dinner as a pilgrims dinner. There was a fixed menu anyway and the time was set, just push the tables together so everyone would feel more free to socialize.”

A piece of paradise out of town and away from the crowds. The accomodation was comfortable with lots of little touches of extra.
