Casa Celeste

The property is managed by Hotel Abaco a few doors down. Before our stay we were informed that the Moors and Christian festival was on during our stay. We were told there would be music on the streets day and night. However we were no aware the extremely loud music would carry on till 5am all through the night right outside the property. Also the road was closed most of our stay which we were not told. Holidays are for rest and relaxation and of course we got no sleep for 3 consecutive nights. They had closed the hotel during this period because of the noise and really can’t understand why they would think it was acceptable to rent out this property during this time also. Extremely inconsiderate of them and morally wrong. Been to Altea many times and have never had a worse stay. My parents are in their 70s and I am totally distraught they did not have a relaxing holiday. I urge you to not book this house during this festival, I wouldn’t want anyone else to go through what we went through

This property was not cleaned to a very high standard. The pool was unusable due to the dirtiness of the water and there ants all over in the house. I came away covered in bug bites.
