“Awesome place in Calahonda”

This stay was an absolute gem. It’s nicely located close to the main street of Calahonda, but still quiet enough to have a good sleep. We loved the garden and the pool. The house had plenty of helpful things for our toddler (bathtub, crib, high chair, pool toys). The sun umbrellas were also great for the beach. The kitchen is well equiped and the fridge is big, which helps for long term stays. The house has ac in every room, which was perfect for the hot days. We’ve loved our stay and would definitely return. Thanks for everything!

To be improved

There were some insect issues, but nothing too serious. The stairway is a bit tricky for kids, it would be amazing if it could be modernized somehow.

Cockroachs dead and alive in kitchen Ant infestation on kitchen sides no matter what we done there was loads all the time Sofa bed is rock hard And the every time we put the AC on in the double bedroom it would trip the electric

“Seamless hosting experience, but average surroundings.”

The best

It is a fully serviced apartment which has everything. And I really mean it – some apartments feature "token" kitchen tools, while this one looks like people are actually living in it. It has everything, including a washing machine, dryer, and dishwasher! It has a reserved parking for the people living in the apartments, and fast internet connection. Basically, you could spend three months here in here, and stay here as a nomad worker. There is really no complaining about the hosts – we never met them, but they were very available and readily answered any query we sent them through Booking.com (the only issue I had was on the internet connection, and it was my fault, I could have find out myself, and also, I needed to check-out a bit later because I overslept, and the host was super helpful). I would definitely consider this place again if I had to come back to Malaga again. Too bad, we came with the bad weather, and we didn't check out the beach nearby. It looked like you need a car to reach it, though, but I am not sure because we didn't really try.

To be improved

There is nothing specific I didn't like from the host or the place – what really struck us negatively is Malaga in general. While the city is very nice and worth visiting, the surroundings in general are definitely heavy on real estate – every square inch is overbuilt. They poured cement everywhere, and the quality of the constructions doesn't look overwhelming – everywhere you will find those apartments that do not have a clear-cut destination, neither for living nor for renting. It seems like everywhere is just a massive real estate speculation. Maybe, if you are a party-kind of person, this is okay. However, that won't be allowed in this place as there are noise control rules. If I had to travel again to the region, I would probably move outside of the real estate madness and check something more into the nature. For instance, we liked Ronda a lot.
