“Bedbugs. No reimbursement nor proper response to the matter.”

The best

The place had bedbugs and nothing else fixes that. The cave was on a very special location just on top of Pozo de las Calcosas and been made beautiful. Four separate doors lead to kitchen, two bedrooms and the bathroom. No access by car, which had to be left up in the mirador. Beautiful ocean view and sound of waves to the rooms.

To be improved

The place had BEDBUGS!!! There were also plenty of cocroaches and a resident mouse visiting the kitchen. In a cave that can happen, but bedbugs make the place inhabitable. Luckily we noticed them quickly, already before unpacking our stuff. Still, we had to store all the used clothes to sealed bags for the rest of our holiday, snd homecoming will not be very relaxed as will need to start freezing the packages. The local contact or the middlemen offered us a replacement so that we would need to change again after one day. Not what we wanted with our family. We arranged things ourselves allowing the host to deal with the issue but 1) not sure if they reacted, 2) no reimbursement for us, 3) no apologies or understanding, just ”we have never had this in any of our apartments”, as if that would help us. NOT RECOMMENDED BEFORE THE PROBLEM IS FIXED.
