The owners were very kind and helpful and did everything to make us feel comfortable.
The house has absolutely everything you need.
A beautiful place that we didn’t even want to leave.
The house has absolutely everything you need.
Standard quality for this hotel tier.
Place may lie a little farther from everything, but that’s part of its charm.
“Exceptional”
What a magical place with the nicest host. It's not your typical seaside Tenerife experience, but if you enjoy mountains, views and staying in nature (literally as the house is in a cave), it's a perfect place for you. The animals add to the atmosphere. I recommend the place especially for couples, friends looking for a quiet artistic place or families with children over 4. Our daughter is 3 and even though she loved it the first day, she got bored a little quite quickly. If you have more than one child, you will be fine. I want to return again (but on my own:)
There are only two downsides (apart from our bad luck with the weather): 1. The road up - it's not dangerous and I drove up 3 times without any problems, but one member of our party couldn't handle it and rather walked up. 2. It is quite cold inside - 18 degrees Celsius the throughout the day (and night). Bring enough warm clothes.

“Unique lifetime adventure - our Cave Home”
Casa Cueva Gaspara is beyond anything you can expect! Staying and living in an actual cave, far away from everything and in complete peace... We knew where we were going, but still, we never imagined the adventure we were getting into. Really unique holidays! Our 5yo had the time of his life, he is still talking about "our cave home". The cave has everything you need and more, even board games and toys for kids. The bonus - amazing hosts! Very helpful and kind, and Yoli is an amazing cook! :) And the nights are amazing - you can almost touch the stars!
When you drive up there for the first time it may be a bit intimidating, but actually any drive around Tenerife is scarier than the road to the cave. It takes around 20min to reach the highway, and some parts are up/down hill, but at any point you dont cross cliffs like in other parts of the island (it was 100x times scarier to drive up to Masca than to our Cueva). So don't get discouraged. At the beginning of our stay we were afraid that it would be hard to drive up there in the night, but it's not so bad, you can easily drive in the night also.
“Heaven”
Everything especially the people and the views

Absolutely a great place to stay, especially with children. This is what sustainable accommodation means. Doesn't get any quieter than this. Feels remote, but 10 min to town and 20 min from highway. Road isn't that bad. Lovely host, that allowed us to collect fresh eggs. Very tidy and cozy living room with a fireplace. Stunning sunrises above clouds.
“Local life experience with the best view”
At first we were a bit shocked how far away it was, but when we got used to the complete privacy, silence and the view, we didn’t want to leave. It is a great experience and we would go back there. Enjoyed the fireplace in the evening and everything inside is very cozy and nicely decorated. We have rented very different accommodations in Tenerife, but never a cave house before, happy that we tried. We were greeted with wine and some eco products, that was very nice surprise! Hostess is always available by message, answering wright away.
The road is a bit annoying, but you have to get up there somehow, so it is something to get used to. Get more groceries to avoid driving up and down! During our stay there was a lot of windy days, but that’s not property’s fault. And evenings are chilly, but it’s normal for that altitude. These minuses are not dealbreakers.
