“Absolutely beautiful villa!”
It was really perfect place for romantic stay 🥰 we were here with my husband, but even if we took our child, there’s absolutely cute another bedroom.
I have no idea what to write here) maybe a small swimming pool were great 👌😅
“Scenic but difficult in various aspects”
Location in the middle of the mountains if you like hiking. The property is spacious, inside as well as outside. Traditional cave dwelling with history nicely converted into an interesting living concept. Terrace with several possibilities to sit. For shower use there are plenty of towels available. Hot water was sufficient for showering. The kitchen was well-equipped cooking utensils.
The road to get there from the direction of Tejeda is difficult to navigate, with steep drops and no guard rails on multiple stretches, steep inclines and declines and many bends and hairpins. Additionally a very narrow single track road without actual passing places. The approach from the other direction, San Nicolas, is even worse in terms of the above stated conditions. To make this very clear, the road is potentially hazardous and only to be recommended for very confident and practiced drivers. This seems to be underlined by the fact the that two days prior to our arrival a severe accident took place on this road, obviously caused by these conditions. There is no hot water in the kitchen, which is a major issue when washing the dishes, so water so has to be either boiled with the kettle or pot on the stove or alternatively carried from the warm water tap in the bathroom. The washing machine was very well hidden outside in a cabinet outside on the terrace and was still filled with towels from the previous occupants which we had to attend to first. It is unclear to get into the apartment at first. The patio door is open and has no key, the actual keys are for the doors inside. The use of the room in the annex is difficult to combine with the room of the main "apartment" considering there is only one set of keys. The stairs in the annex have no handrail which might be a problem for not surefooted people. The kitchen was lacking sponge/cloth/towels for washing up appropriately. Regarding the location it is very difficult to equip this via a supermarket by yourself. The apartment is advertised for tranquility, but in truth during our stay, the neighbors in the village were shouting loudly especially in the morning and evening hours. Dogs were barking quite extensively and cars were repaired beneath the accommodation whilst having the engine running for hours, with the diesel fumes spreading on the terrace.
