“Pleasant stay. Wonderful host. Parking not convenient.”
The best

If coming from Spain, directions to the place are well marked. If coming from Portugal, however, GPS takes you down small lanes that cannot get you to the property. People in the local area were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was plentiful and the best we had on our trip!!

“You can be happy with such simple things!”
The best

Complete electrical outage in the whole country. No phones, no access codes, no way to contact the owner! HOWEVER, the whole village stepped in. One went to call the owner on a motorbike. The others brought food, the other made a fire inside to warm us up. The owner gave us LOTS of foods and drinks for free! Everything was super clean. We ended the night around a fire, with no contact to the world. Just the best experience that you can't buy anywhere else. In the morning, you open the windows and you hear the water flowing from the fountain, surrounded by all those stone houses. Teleported me right away to my grandparents' village!

To be improved

The fact that we only stayed 1 night! I would rather move to that village for good!

“Great stay in Lobios”
The best

We had a great stay at Casa da Praza. The place was easy to find due to some good signs that direct you. A short walk took us right into town. The room was lovely and very comfortable. There is a nice communal room downstairs with tea and coffee and it was a perfect spot for us to store our bikes. The host was very accommodating and communicated well.

“A great bed and a great breakfast with kind hosts.”
The best

Don’t skip the breakfast. It was fantastic! The room was large and modern with a comfortable bed and nice, clean private bathroom. The hosts were very kind to accommodate our diet preferences and help one traveler who arrived with food poisoning.

To be improved

There was no reading light or smaller lamp. It was bright or dark.
