CASA DAS FERREIRAS Cangas

Location is a plus for this house, it is close to supermarket, restaurants and bus stop.The house' facilities are great and the host was very helpful.

Perfect location. Like the closeness of everything for all the family. The buzz of the square with the bars. Been coming to Cangas for 30 years to stay with family but this was an extra special stay at this property.

Very nice and special little House right in the middle of Cangas. The House is build on very minimal space out of a old Granite Stone Building and very tall. Theres lots of steps, nice Illumination, Glass paneling and nearly 5 Floors. Everything was super clean, Beds where very comfortable, Jacuzzi on the rooftop and Landlord David was very nice and caring. Definitly going to come back again 😊

It was in the center and had all the things we needed for our stay.

The location is fabulous 7 minute walk to the Cangas ferry port/bus. Even less to the seafront. The house is very interesting. It's an old fisherman's lodge which has been refurbished over 4 floors. They've retained the stone walls but kept the interior super minimal and modern. There are a lot of stairs, so I wouldn't recommend with small kids. However, for our needs with 3 older kids, the space was super interesting as the kids had their own special nooks/loft spaces to lounge. Jacuzzi was super clean and easy to operate. All the fittings seemed brand new and the showers were lovely - hot with good water pressure. We unfortunately had an issue with our rental car which could have killed our experience in the area. However, our host Jaime saved the day and was extremely helpful in sending us a huge local list of recommended restaurants, tavernas and beaches. There is a bus that runs regularly until 2 and then again after 4pm. You can use this to go to some local beaches. One thing to note- the house is next to a taverna and as the Spanish eat quite late, it was loud until around 12/1am. This didn't bother us as we were exhausted from the beach and we weren't going to bed much earlier anyway. This is no fault of the host - you're going to get this in any town centre in Spain. If you are a light sleeper, best consider somewhere more rural. That said, beds were super comfortable.

Incredible house, very clean, and the host was very friendly. Not only did he show us the house and have a bunch of interesting information and facts about the house/area, but he had a list of amazing recommendations to eat and go to the beach which we followed, and were actually pretty good!! Amazing place to stay with friends or family. Beds were very comfortable, and kitchen was fully equipped and even had a washing machine for the clothes! The hot tub, was so clean, and comfortable, it was perfect for a sunny morning to wake up and chill in! Area was also the best, as it was in the center, close to any shop, restaurant or supermarket. It's a place to remember, and come back again for sure!
