“Idyllic stop along the Via de la Plata”
The best

Absolutely beautiful house in a stunning location. Our private terrace was gorgeous, as was the pool. Excellent breakfast - well worth the 8 euro extra. Patricia was a wonderful host. The Casa is no longer doing dinner, but Patricia collected and served us a fantastic meal from ‘A Cocina de Lucia’ and recommended a great restaurant a few kilometres away (and arranged the taxi to and from) for our second night. A super-relaxing stay. Wish it had been longer.

“Relaxing stay in a village near Santiago”
The best

Comfortable room, delicious breakfast with plentiful options, including freshly scrambled eggs and freshly squeezed orange juice. Patricia also provided dinner for us which was delicious, for 11 euros each. Casa de Casal is set on a large property with beautiful gardens in a 16th century farmhouse. Highly recommended. Patricia is an exceptional host both friendly and knowledgeable.

The best

It’s a beautiful, well-maintained countryside property and we totally relaxed here whether in our room, on the terrace, or at the pool. The grounds are green and lovely. The buffet breakfast was the best we had on our trip to Spain.
