Dirty and it needed updating and some repairs Ie..broken mirror in the bathroom, no air condition, mosquito net in the window was ripped, television unusable.

The room was perhaps more spartan than expected. No ability to make coffee, no refrigerator. Very poor facilities for power plugs. Lighting was poor. Fully understand the challenges for access but it could be improved with more modern locks. Doors didn't close properly.

WiFi did not work, it was a fair uphill walk to town, check-in needs to be done at the restaurant, which we were not advised prior. We booked a room with a garden view but had only 1 small window above the bed too high to see out of, looking at the road.

If they put an explanation that says the property is on the downside of the hill, so there will be a need to climb the stairs to see the main castle, it would help to be psychologically be prepared a bit better. But, joke aside, that place was awesome by itself.

the facilities in the room were cheaply done for the setting ex. shower lead was damaged, the water mixer tap was set to hot,almost no cold, the dryer could not have dried a crew cut. also, breakfast was offered only from 10 a.m..please! there was no wifi in the room so free or.not....in 2022!

Faced the problem with support staff regarding bed; first we said no for extra bed and once we visited the room; we requested for the bed(extra payment) but as per them there was no extra bed in the hotel and that was kinda lie as we dint see any other guest in our part of museum. It looks like they took first `no` personally.
