The best

We had a real dream vacation ! The house is spotless, stylish, and very comfortable, with breathtaking views over the sea and the mountains. Karen was a wonderful host, and the breakfast she served each morning was exceptional. We loved relaxing by the beautiful pool, and the location is ideal — peaceful, yet close to Girona, Figueres, and the beaches. Truly one of our best stays ever!

The experience depends entirely on the hosts activities and mood which also lives there in the back. She uses the kitchen for food prep, cooking for herself and cooking for guests, this means the common space is mostly noisy. The room I stayed in, happens to be on the other side of the thin kitchen wall. There was no privacy at all. Constant noise from the host or other guests can be heard at the same noise level in your room. Food smells as well. The sliding door doesn’t help either. The host was in my room every day. Without or with me just coming out of the bedroom. There is also a movement sensor in every room. The only complaint I had in the nicest way (just didn’t use it) was the smelly sheets/blanket. When I mentioned it, her answer was: No it doesn’t smell. The shower has some mold on the tiles and shower handle. The cleaning lady took stuff out of my room, which I luckly saw on her tray leaving the room. There was no real cleaning but just replacing personal belongings. The toilet paper is the ruffest/cheapest you will find. The other guests just left right away without even staying the night. The washing machine where your sheets get washed smells bad. The photos won’t tell you any of these things before unfortunately.

The best

Friendly guest house really well situated on the top of the mountain with sea view. Lots of ride in the mountains with dolmen accessible by feet. Near the Roses seaport and its restaurants. Confortable room well equipped. Great home made breakfast. Breakfast is vegan but it was a great experience as it is cooked very well by Karen.

To be improved

A car is suitable but the access is easy with one.

Great location, great view, the house is clean and the spaces are well thought out for comfort and relaxation. She is the ultimate host. She has thought of everything to makeYour space comfortable and a home away from home. Attention to detail with additional amenities in the rooms and shared areas. I highly recommend and would return to stay for longer.

Everything. Absolutely everything. Karen was an amazing host. The view is worth the cost alone but a must is her breakfast. If you stay, do yourself the favor and get her breakfast every day.
