“Exceptional”
Location: Charming old village with stone buildings sitting on a slope and narrow streets. Hotel: A historic building carefully renovated and converted into a small hotel. Room: We had an apartment (ground level as opposed to other rooms) with a fully equipped kitchen and a normal size table; electric sockets: several sockets easily available including sockets near the bed; lighting: very good, you may read without any problem. Bed: Large and comfortable. Breakfast: Excellent. Suitable both for French style (sweets, jam, orange juice) and German style (ham, cheese, tomato). WiFi: free, very good signal and fast internet. Staff: Nice and helpful. Parking: Free street parking front of the hotel. Great advantage for such packed village and its tiny streets.
Not a fault of the hotel, just to aware you. Location: Charming village means also that driving a car is a challenge as some streets are really narrow, about 2m. I would recommend to stop the car where you can still make a U-turn and look for the hotel on foot. If you enter the village you must go ahead until you leave it, then you may turn back and try once more. Hotel is not marked on the main street (neither by name nor by a building number). If you find a number 356 or 358, the hotel is located on the opposite side of the street. Parking: Entrance to the yard front of the hotel where you can park is through a bottleneck wide only 2m. Challenging, but when you pass this driving test you may easily park front of the hotel.
“Wonderful stay with amazing breakfast”
We loved our stay at Casa de Miranda. The breakfast was incredible. It included delicious freshly baked cake and bread, and an amazing selection of local products too. The house was immaculately clean. The best part was chatting with our host, who was so friendly and gave us loads of great recommendations. Graciñas!
“Beautiful house, super comfy bed and the best host”
Great bedroom - huge and comfy, great location (in between Fisterra and Carnota, plenty to do, with a beautiful beach in town), and the best host that carefully prepares breakfast every morning. She made arrangements (I'm celiac and I struggle to find safe food to eat out) and I could enjoy local cheese, fruits and much more. She made many recommendations on what to do around the area and overall made my stay super pleasant. Plus, everything was immaculately clean. Great place to stay in!
“Charming and comfortable setting with personal attention.”
Casa de Miranda Turismo Rural in a charming and extremely comfortable setting, with exquisite personal attention from host Sra Joaquina. Set up on the hillside, in a newly restored old stone house, it is within easy walking distance of three restaurants and the beach. A few minutes away by car from the stunning Fervenza de Ézaro, which you can walk or kayak to. The breakfast buffet included in the room rate, surpassed that of all the other hotels, pazos and monasteries my mother and I stayed at during an 8-day road-trip. Freshly baked homemade cakes, with eggs and honey from the owners’ own farm, as well as assorted non-lactose milks offered without asking, proves a generosity and attention to detail that was a delight to experience. Will be back for sure!
“Superb stay in a warm, cozy atmosphere”
I have travelled about 45 countries in the world, had been in the most expensive & fanciest hotels one can imagine-but this little Jewel tops them all, lovely clean, calm and nicely designed spacious rooms in Granite and white, lovely basement and an Owner who really cares about you. Fresh baked bread and fresh orange juice every morning, fruitsalad-all made on the spot. I give that one a 10/10-especially also to the Owners!!!!
