“Great location and friendly host”
The best

The villa was traditional, spacious and great bath towels. The plunge pool was very clean and good to have in the heat. Location was perfect - easy drive into Cordoba and 5 mins to Almodóvar del Rio for restaurants, supermarket and amazing medieval castle! An 8 minute drive gets you to the reservoir which was great for swimming and great restaurant at the location serving delicious food with fantastic views.

To be improved

The villa did not have a washing machine which we missed when booking. However, we arranged with the owner for some of our washing to be picked up and returned to us later on that day. Our check in experience was a bit fraught as when we arrived the property was locked and there were no joining instructions. We had to call booking.com to eventually get things sorted. However if we had known that the owner lived in the big house opposite slightly down the road we could have rung the bell for his attention as we did when we dropped off the key. Wi-Fi went down after 3 days and could not be fixed.
