We stayed in Cada do Campo on the night of the electric outage, as part of the Portuguese to Santiago camino. Our host , Uxio, went above and beyond to make our stay at his accommodation pleasant and to support us getting groceries in as all the shops, restaurants, and hotels had closed because of the electricity outage The accommodation was excellent, very beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, and a really spacious back patio area with garden furniture and a BBQ .

To be improved

I really couldn't say anything negative about this accommodation or its host.

“Great place to stay to explore the surroundings of Santiago de Compostela and Finesterre”

This is a great stay for families that want to explore the Camino de Santiago around Santiago de Compostela and Cape Finesterre. We took our parents who are in their 80's but still mobile & were 4 adults. We had a rental car which is a must for this area. We spent 2 nights and that was just enough time to take a day trip to Santiago to visit the sites, and to drive the coast up to Finesterre. The house has recently been redone and it's in great shape, a nice mix of old exterior with modern interior. The owner is from the area and has great ideas for places to visit. We chatted a few times on WhatsApp and he gave us recommendations on beaches, markets and restaurants. There is a local bar a few houses down that sells cafe con leche in the morning and they have local wine for sale by the pitcher that they drink in bowls. The stay here and the surrounding visits were one of the highlights of our trip to Spain.
