“Beautiful peaceful stay in impeccable traditional country house”
The best

Beautiful country house in a very peaceful location. Extremely comfortable beds and high quality bed linen. Amazing terrace with lovely views and beautiful garden. Very tastefully furnished and decorated . Very friendly and helpful owner / host

To be improved

Nothing really. It would have been even more amazing to have been able to have breakfast on the terrace . Breakfast was lovely but maybe it would have been nice to have more protein (eg an egg ) for breakfast

The staff was over controlling and stressful. We have to beg for a morning cup of coffee, they make us feel like we would have to thank them for allowing us to stay.

The location and the rooms was great

To be improved

The service was terrible. First as we arrived no one was letting us in on the property. We were waiting outside the gate for 20 min, honking, calling the house ring and so on, but received no reaction whatsoever. Important to add, there's no mobile internet reception at that place, so you can't even communicate with property. However I managed to send couole of messages through booking app, but received only empty automatic replies. Second, as soon as you arrive at property, the receptionist, who happens to he the owner of the house and lived their constantly treats you with poor attitude, like you owe her smth. You feel like you came to vacation to your ant's house, who hapoens to be super demanding and annoying. Third, I came with the dog. As soon as we met with receptionist, nothing was said about the charge for the dog, except for multiplw demands where he can go, where he can't and so on. On the following morning however as I was leaving the premises, the cleaner came to me with a piece of paoer on which it was written that I have to pay 20 € pet charge. However I wasn't notified avout it previously. And the receptionist prior to that talked a lot to me and played with my dog. Also the room was left in exceptional clean condition, the dog didn't climb on beds or anything, so the pet charge was useless. All in all, highly disappointed with this property
