“A wonderful rural gem for exploring the Costa da Morte!”
The place is wonderful little gem in a rural town of the Costa da Morte region. The apartment is located in an old Galician stone house, that has been beautifully renovated and equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The hostess is absolutely wonderful and easily approachable for any questions you might have during your stay. We really enjoyed our time there!
The house is in a remote location, so a car to get around is essential. The apartment itself is private and located on the first floor of the house, but there are some communal spaces on the ground floor which were not in use during our stay, however. A kettle for making tea would have been a nice extra. ;)
“Exceptional”
This is a lovely place, ancient building reconverted into 3 separate suites all with 2 bedrooms and a kitchen. We arrived on a Sunday afternoon and all stores are closed but our host was happy to give us whatever we needed. Lucia and her daughter Diana made our stay exceptional with their warm welcome and attention to anything we needed. Even offering us extras like farm fresh eggs, fruit and specilaty drinks. This is my favorite spot for sure in the 3 weeks we have been driving around Spain. Definitely out in the countryside, you will need a car but lots of parking space, easy access to Santiago and A Courna as well as gorgeous beaches!
