“Very good”

The best

The surroundings (the mountains, the mango orchard, even the barking dogs and noisy roosters) were perfect. The proximity to the beach and nearby cities.

To be improved

Creaking bed in master's bedroom; Not enough facilities for cooking; Nearby restaurant is closed on Monday and Tuesday.

“Absolutely beautiful”

The best

Absolutely beautiful location, lovely clean and rustic holiday home. Mountains all around you. Good facilities in the home.

To be improved

There wasn’t any aircon, and the pool could of done with being filtered a little more often. However when we informed Pablo he did supply an extra fan. That’s the only reason I’m not giving the room a 9/10 as it was a perfect holiday.

“Disappointing”

Garden furniture dirty and the stretcher Broken. Faul fruit on the terrace and lawn, had not been cleaned in weeks Undetermined quantity of Cats on the premises. Fully outdated the furniture and kitchen and lack of cleaning. It smelled muggy in the rooms and the bathroom For 125 euro a night something more might be expected.

“Pleasant break in the hills near Santa Cruz”

The best

Great little house with lovely garden and outside eating area. Set in beautiful hills in a secluded setting but short walk into town. There is another property behind that shares the swimming pool. Pool was clean and tidy although cool! Nice restaurant very near although closes at 5pm.

To be improved

Rains a lot more here than the west of the island and more in the hills than even Santa Cruz. Damp inside the property when it is wet weather. Lack of oven was definitely a drawback for self catering.

“small cozy cottage in the valley of Anaga mountains”

We enjoyed staying at Casa dos Barrancos cottage B, it’s small but clean and comfortable place . Short drive away from shops , restaurants and beaches . Even though there are 2 more little cottages on the property you still feel privacy. Pool is quite small but was fine to cool down on very hot days . Very good WiFi, worked in all rooms and even at the pool . Small kitchen with small hob , microwave, kettle , toaster and coffee maker . Bathroom is good size and we always had hot water and lots of clean towels.

To be improved

In each of the rooms there is only one plug socket and it was a bit of problem to try and charge phones or tablets and use the fan at the same time . The place would benefit from extension cables and also with extra fan as it’s gets extremely hot In summer in the day time. The pool area needs some TLC as it’s overgrown and the furniture had better days . What ever chemicals are used in the pool caused a reaction with sun cream and our kids looked like little minions ( all body and swim suits yellow/ green ) Bring EAR PLUGS ! Every morning between 4-5am local Rosters start the “Tenerife’s got talent” show. There are so many of them in the valley and it’s impossible to sleep. As well as dogs howling and barking all night.
