“Could so easily be a 10”
The best

Quite possibly the cleanest villa we have ever rented. Location right by the sea is superb - uninterupted views. Plenty of hot water. Easy access to restaurants, bars and supermarkets. Wi-Fi seemed pretty good - always a bit difficult to tell if you have roaming.

To be improved

Pool side beds are the most uncomfortable I have used. Pool towels (and bath towels) are suitable for teeny tiny people only. Freezer was totally iced up on arrival to the point the door would not close - as we had already received our delivery of food, we could not de-frost it. Only one socket by the bed so choose between charging your phone or having the light on. AC in the master bedroom was quite noisy - note to management company - worth getting it checked. Drawer front in the kitchen falling off. Info booklet says no glass near the pool but there is not a single plastic glass or plate in the house. Bit lacking on things like salad bowls and serving dishes. TV in the wrong room (not that we use it) why put it in the dining room? Lack of suitable mirrors - The 2 in the sitting room are fine if you are over 2m tall.

“Casa Elena is a fabulous villa”
The best

Casa Elena is absolutely beautiful and in a stunning location. The villa was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for our 3 week stay. The communication from Mariposas Home was fantastic, letting us know when the pool cleaner or cleaners were coming and when we had a problem with the oven a member of the team came round within the hour to help us sort it out.
