Casa en Garachico

The house was next to a funeral house. The first day we arrived there was a funeral. Lots of people were out in the street Infront of the funeral house ( and Infront of our accomodation because they were quite next to each other), we first thought it's great that so many people ar out at that time at night cause we assumed it's a pub. Then we realised it's a funeral home and the people gathered there were saying their good byes. The owner should've mentioned about this. Our first thought was to get our money back but we were with the children and it was late so we stayed. The house wasn't available in full as advertised. The upstairs room was locked and we only got access to 2 bedrooms, 1 living room, 1 bathroom, even though on the website they advertise that when you rent, you get the entire property. We also expected 2 bathrooms as stated on booking.com. We only got acces to one bathroom which had a shower that didn't have a good boiler system. If 2 people were having a shower, 1 after another, the third would wash with cold water, or had to wait 30 min for the boiler to heat up the water again. They need a better boiler system or a bigger tank. No barbeque allowed on the property in the back garden, wich was locked and we had no acces to. When I've texted the owner about the back garden and the barbeque, he said it is not allowed. Ok, but then why do you advertise it as a back garden with a barbeque if we can't use it? We were charged for a full house and got a flat. Communication with the owner wasn't straight forward as the phone number listed on booking it's not the number they can be contacted. I had to email them through booking.com in order for them to send me a valid phone number so we can communicate. In conclusion, I liked the village and we had a car to travel around the island so we didn't stay too long around the property, but the accommodation wasn't as advertised and as expected.
