Casa Esparragueras

We met the owners at a meeting point in Competa. They lead us to the accommodation (which was quite remote)! This accommodation is fantastic if you enjoy privacy and mountain views. From two sides of the property you look down into a valley with farms and homes. Nearest town is Competa at about 10 min drive. Nice little town with a few restaurants (not many are open on Sunday!). The place itself is a lovely old cottage (150 years?) that was renovated and enlarged but still did not lose the authentic atmosphere of long time ago. Very small and simple kitchen but appliances are available (fridge, coffee maker, washing machine). Bathroom equipped with 80L boiler for hot water. Plenty to comfortably take a long shower after a hard day of sight seeing.

The property was clean and had everything we needed. The plunge pool was wonderful , perfect for our two children. The views were amazing. The road to the property was winding which one would expect going up a mountain. The staff we met, David and Louis were helpful, efficient and friendly. Wonderful place for a relaxed quiet holiday.

Quiet, beautiful views

Absolute gem of accommodation. Breathtaking views, 15 mins or so from Competa. The house had everything you could think of , even sun hats, which I found behind the bathroom door. There are plenty of crockery and utensils. Very homely rustic feel to it. It's lovely to hear, then see the goats down the valley. Bottle of wine and bowl of lemons on arrival, there is a lemon tree right next to the pool area.
