The best

For us, the apartment and its location were perfect. It was clean and well equipped. There is a large supermarket just downstairs and free parking along the street (directly in front, or up to ~5 min walk away). The walk from the city centre is a bit uphill, but not a problem for us.

“Excellent - comfortable and relaxing.”
The best

Although the apartment is in a block overlooking a small shopping mall plaza, therefore no real 'view' as such, it is light and airy, very comfortable and very well equipped. There are lots of 'homely' touches, and the welcome bowl of fruit with all those lovely passion fruit was wonderful! The plaza becomes a place where many locals bring their youngsters to play in the early evening, which is lovely to see (and hear - we left the balcony door open especially). There are 3 supermarkets within 5 minutes walk, and the town market is just a minute or two further. The 'tourist centre' of Santa Cruz, and the seafront are within 10 minutes walk, so restaurants and bars aplenty are close.

To be improved

Parking close to the apartment proved a challenge. We often had to park 5 minutes or so up the hill by the sports stadium - not a problem for us, but anyone with mobility problems should bear that in mind.

Cosy large apartment in a convenient location. Stylish, clean and with a very nice owner. A large supermarket in the same building. Washing machine and dishwasher available, all necessary stuff is available in the flat.
