“Excellent stay in beautiful surroundings”
The best

Beautiful, impressive house and location with a welcoming, friendly host! The best outdoor areas for lounging by the pool, and to enjoy a delicious breakfast while watching the mountains around. Makes you want to hike to the Foradà - which we did :) Lovely tiny villages bound together by small, safe walking paths.

The best

Madelena is really lovely host! Our room was beautiful and views from our balcony were amazing! We loved our time in Benissivá, it is a lovely and extremely beautiful small village, like a paradise! We would love to go back there. If you love nature and peace this is the right place for you! So many opportunities to hike different paths and see amazing views. We were so lucky this spring in Benissivá when we saw Iberian imperial eagle and beautiful flowers all around on our hiking trip, it was like from a fairy tale!

“Superb”
The best

Quirky village casa in a really tranquil, remote location with fabulous mountain views. Cosy public spaces, inside and out. Super friendly welcome from Madalena, she was responsive to our requests and cooked us a lovely evening meal. Great breakfast, all fresh local produce. A guest kitchen meant you could prepare you own food and drinks. We didn't take advantage of this, but perhaps next time 😉

To be improved

The bedroom was small, but ok for a single night. A challenging drive through typical narrow village road to the hotel and car park - but all was so quiet, we didn't meet any vehicles coming the other way. Wish we could have stayed longer.

The best

Madalena was super friendly and welcoming. The location was peaceful. The evening meal was very good, as was the breakfast.

To be improved

Unfortunately the bed was slightly smaller than I would like.

“Very warm welcome at this rural home”
The best

We were looking for a peaceful, authentic and rural property to explore the area. Casa Gallinera was perfect for us. Madelena was the perfect hostess, a kind and warm welcome, home cooked dinner and breakfast with a wonderful view. Sunsets were a real bonus too. Thank you

To be improved

I honestly cannot think of anything we disliked? Take care on a Tuesday as many of the nearby restaurants and bars close.
