“With Bettina hosting the property it was a fabulous home from home”

Check in was very easy. The property was exceptionally clean. The Kitchen exceptionally equipped. Every thing what one needed was there. A welcome package of water, beer and fruit drink. We did not have to go shopping immediately, sugar, coffee, tea, salt pepper etc was all there. The location is great. A short walk to a shopping centre with a great variety of shops and supermarket, Restaurants and Coffee shops. To the sea it is a pleasant walk to the beach and Restaurants. If one likes to be away from the hustle of tourism it is an ideal location.

To be improved

I liked everything! Maybe for some the neighbours noice level and the dogs barking would be uncomfortable.

The best

Convenient location, within walking distance to supermarkets, shopping centre, seafront restaurants and bars. Short cycle to Arrecife along the Paseo Marítimo also. Quiet residential location, not over touristy!

“A very enjoyable relaxing stay”

The best

The house was modern, clean and perfectly equipped for all our requirements. Bettina was excellent. Our electricity failed and she quickly isolated the issue and organised an electrician and a plumber on a Saturday. Everything was back to normal within a few hours.

“Superb”

The best

Excellent service responses before and during the stay. Very helpful in regard to temporary luggage storage on our final stay. Lovely and relatively quiet location for a family. 5 minutes from the promenade between Arrecife and Puerto del Carmen. 5 minutes from the shops and grocery. Convenient buses to and from the airport.

The apartment was really great. They had everthing you whant. Close to shopping mall restorants, bars, and beach...

“Central location”

The best

Casa Grumete was centrally located in Playa Honda. 3 minutes walk from a supermarket and 5 minutes from the beach with plenty of good restaurants around, especially ''Bao' which we went to twice., The house was spacious and 2 showr rooms were useful for 4 of us. Introductory information was comprehensive and our contact, Bettina, was available if we needed her (although we didn't)

To be improved

The noise from next door neighbours was particularly annoying at all hours of the night and their dog barking when they left it during the day. Wearing ear plugs sorted the night time problem but we would be reluctant to return because of the noise. There were no sun loungers. Not important for most people as there was a table and chairs outdoors. We bought one for my mobility restricted husband which Bettina agreed will benefit future visitors.
