“Very comfortable traditional house with private pool and amazing view”

The best

Waking up to the view and having the private pool every morning was pure bliss. Easy walk to Teguise centre, so I appreciated not having to take the car at night to have dinner. Big kitchen, ideal for cooking and outdoor bbq. Decent Wifi connection for working. Overall a great stay.

To be improved

The house was well equipped in terms of amenities, but was lacking some basics like hand soap, salt etc. Would not be a problem if you're staying two weeks and buying your basics. Warmer (yellower) lighting would make the place more cozy at night.

“We enjoyed our trip to Lanzarote very much but did not find the accommodation very pleasant.”

The best

Location was good as near town, quiet and easy to get to many places in northern Lanzarote and house also had a view. Hot showers appreciated. Managing agency quick response to any concerns was much appreciated too. WiFi was fine. Good to have outside drying area. The house was very clean.

To be improved

The accommodation was basic with no frills in terms of decor and equipment . For example 4 of the 6 outside chairs were broken when we arrived, washing machine was broken ( but this was not a problem for us). No hot water tap in the kitchen. Furnishings are basic and the house was chilly at night to the point where our stored clothes felt damp when removed from the cupboard. We were grateful for the one electric heater.

“Wonderful restful break”

The best

The location of the villa is amazing 2 minute walk into the old town and central for sightseeing. The pool area got the sun all day till 5pm we were there in November so probably longer in summer. It was very hot when we were there up to 30 degrees and though there was no air conditioning it was not too hot indoors. Any requests we made were responded to quickly. Don’t stay here if you are looking for a party location it’s a quiet town that is mostly closed Monday Tuesday

To be improved

The main items in the kitchen were all of good quality but there were a few things missing like chopping boards I am sure if I had asked for them they would have sorted this but I had already asked for a small knife and cushions for the loungers and didn’t want to keep bothering them😂 take your own pool towel as they aren’t supplied

“Spacious retreat away from the crowds”

The best

Spacious home in quiet residential street. Small but lovely outdoor space with uninterrupted view of the castle. Teguise is a nice town away from the coastal strip, with a few good restaurants nearby.

To be improved

The house felt quite cool particularly in the evenings. This will be welcome in the heat of the summer but less so in the cooler months - we had to layer up to get warm! We've suggested providing heating which I'm sure the owners will consider. We were the first guests in this property so hopefully the few improvements we have suggested will be made. The managing agent was extremely nice and helpful and welcomed our comments.
