“Great experience! A cozy and comfortable hostel!”

The best

Very comfy beds, pretty center location, even though a bit hard to get to and from the airport using public transport. Common area is very nicely decorated and has a welcoming and warm atmosphere. Staff are very nice and friendly.

To be improved

Toilets sometimes aren’t in perfect cleanliness condition (but nothing too bad), but I guess it depends on the guests who are staying at that moment.

“Staff were lovely, room was spacious and clean. Private bathroom was big. Overall a really good experience. Would return!! · Cons: One of the showers in our private bathroom was out of order which wasn’t ideal with 4 of us. The other one had a slightly blocked drain so water leaked out a bit. Hair dryer in the bathroom also didn’t work although staff provided us with a replacement so that wasn’t an issue.”

“Nice hostel in the fancy neighborhood”

The best

Great hostel! Even though it’s technically not in the city center, the neighborhood is really nice and well connected by buses and the metro. The hostel feels more like a small hotel – very clean, modern, and beautifully designed, with great common areas that are genuinely pleasant to hang out in. Not crowded at all – no lines or big groups. Friendly staff who were helpful with anything I needed. For a hostel – it’s top-notch!

To be improved

It would be nice to have bed curtains, that’t all that comes to my mind.

“Stayed here for a night, very well located in the heart of Gracia, staff was friendly and place was clean. You can walk in the neighborhood and it is very nice. The Glop restaurant nextdoor was amazing. · Cons: The shower had a button so it cut out after a short amount of time, bed was not very comfy.”

“Great hostel in a lovely neighbourhood of Barcelona”

The best

The room, as well as the hostel in general, was nice and clean. The staff was super friendly and I got some really good tips on what to do in Barcelona! :) The hostel is in a nice and quieter (less touristy) neighbourhood, which I really appreciated. And they get an extra plus point for their terrace.

To be improved

The bed was not that comfortable and it would have been nice to have a curtain around the bed to get some privacy and not be so easily woken up by roomates turning on the light... Overall, I enjoyed staying at Casa Jam, although I am not sure if I would stay there again, because I didn't sleep well.
