“Peaceful stay at Casa Joya”
The best

The villa is situated in an attractive development with outstanding views from the two terraces. It was well equipped and comfortable, with a relaxing atmosphere. We appreciated the welcome gifts and thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.

To be improved

It's a very steep uphill walk from the beach/town !

“The petfect place to stay for a family, if you know what to expect”
The best

The house itself is a clear 10. Very well equipped, tasteful interior and exterior, amazing sea view from two terraces

To be improved

The house sells as „beachfront“, but there‘s neither a beach, nor is it at the ocean front (rather 4-5 rows back, up a steep hill). You need a car to go to beaches, shops or restaurants. The owners are understandably concerned about protecting the good condition of their fantastic property, but we felt like big brother was watching. The internet camera at the door allowed them to watch us come and go, which is a little bit creepy. We were also getting more „help“ than we were looking for via calls, chat, voice-mail, e-mail. They also surprised us with the fact that they’re usually collecting a 300 Euro security guarantee. This is a little bit unusual, but ok if there is transparency at the time when you’re making your booking, but that wasn’t the case.

“A stunning apartment near to chilled beaches and great food options”
The best

The apartment is spacious, well presented and very tastefully decorated. The beds are comfy and the double is very roomy. The ice maker is a dream gadget when it's so hot outside! I'm now looking to invest in one myself. Lisa is approachable, friendly and happy to help via WhatsApp about anything! There are extra toys for kids and useful things like pens and paper available. What a luxury having two outdoor spaces, the smaller balcony was great for hanging out washing to dry and the upper terrace is straight out of a travel magazine! A stunning view day and night. The outdoor shower on the top terrace will never be beaten! It made washing the children more fun and it was nice not being in a stuffy bathroom when the weather was hot. The communal pool was great, never too busy and with lots of shady trees to sit under. Our kids loved it. The urbanization itself is very well kept with mature and beautiful plants and foliage throughout. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

To be improved

Whilst this is a first world problem it might be useful for some to know that the air conditioning is only in the bedrooms so the living space was warm. We came at an exceptionally hot time though and in actual fact it didn't matter and it wouldn't deter us from returning at all. Also not really a problem for us, but it's a very steep walk up to the apartment which might not suit everyone. But we would happily return as we are fit and able bodied and can cope with it. It's easy to get taxis though so we got dropped at the door a few times to save our legs. The taxis were cheap and plentiful.

The best

Fabulous property with exceptional views. The property was very well equipped. The decor was very modern and up to date. The kids loved the outside shower. The communal pool was ideal to pop down to and it was never too busy.

There is nothing to mention here. We loved everything about the property.
