“This villa has the most wonderful view, it was heavenly.”
The best

The villa is perfect for a holiday away from it all. It is so beautiful and peaceful, the garden, the scenery, all so relaxing. Competa is a lovely village, with a busyling square, good restaurants and well syocked supermarkets. The surrounding area is stunning. The villa was spotlessly clean and the owners were very kind and helpful. The roads to Competa are very winding up into the mountains and the drive to the house itself is hairy, but we got used to it.

To be improved

We arrived during a heatwave and were very disappointed to find that the villa is not air-conditioned throughout as we had expected, only the living room. The owners brought us fans, but we were very uncomfortable at night. I would also say that the kitchen is very sparse on supplies. The house was so beautiful, especially the outdoor kitchen, but there were hardly any pans or dishes for cooking or serving. I enjoy cooking but it was challenging to prepare meals for the family with so little equipment. It was also a shame that there was no welcome pack. We arrived at midnight, and there was only a bottle of water in the fridge. Some bread and fruit would have been a nice touch.
