The best

Very comfortable house. Central location in a nice village with all facilities. Comfortable bed! Good base for visiting Don Quijote-route. Nice hiking trails nearby. We had a wonderful week. Muchas gracias!

“Well equipped house in a quiet village”
The best

We spent 5 peaceful days at this nicely renovated house. We were remote working and loved the fibre optic Internet with fast Wi-Fi (although the TV only had the basic channels). Tiny but gorgeous interior patio off the kitchen (photo attached since there are none in the official gallery). Well equipped kitchen, large bathroom, comfortable bed, and massive main entrance/corridor (where the downstairs air conditioning unit is). Since there were only two of us, we were restricted to the ground floor only, which was perfect for our needs. Windmills within walking distance (uphill!) and amazing lakes 15 minutes away by car (las Lagunas de Villafranca de los Caballeros). On a Sunday in September very few people walking, picnicking, biking and swimming. Peaceful and unspoilt.

To be improved

The living room had no opening windows (a glass door onto the street obviously couldn't be opened wide, despite the security bars), and there was little natural light because of the curtains (needed for privacy). Nevertheless, there were good lamps. (Photo of living room shows our work set-up at the extendable dining-room table)
