Ufortunately we had to leave after one night. The location is horrible. Every 5 minutes the planes are landing or taking off right above your head. You can't escape it even in the flat. The complex is very compact, some cockroaches that's normal I guess but also dozens of cats freely roaming everywhere. Combine that with a lot of dogs. Almost every unit has a dog. The balcony of the flat is opposite another unit. You literally see into their open living room, where they watch tv constantly with wide open doors. The village is probably the ugliest place in Tenerife. It is dusty, crosscut with radom empty areas that serve as a garbage heaps. Old buildings and gated complexes with outdated units by roads. Only beach within a normal walking distance is tiny,and it was covered in seaweed. It is 21 minutes by car from the airport, which is usually ok for Tenerife. I visit Tenerife often, and the week prior I stayed 16 minutes from the airport towards north, and there were none of these problems. Overall, I felt really bad for the host. She is very nice but the area is the worst from the entire Tenerife, and I would not recommend to stay there, especially if you travel with a dogs

No bedside lamp in one of the bedrooms.

The lock from the entrance gate (not from the appartment but from the entire residential facility) was a nightmare, has to be fixed ASAP.
