Was well kept and clean. Had everything we could possibly want as a group of bikers. Lovely outdoor space. Host was excellent.

Charming Villa Near Picos de Europa, Spain We recently stayed at a beautiful villa near Picos de Europa with two families, including four children. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the owner, a delightful and kind-hearted woman who was genuinely pleased to see us. The villa is ideally located in a lovely village, with a picturesque stream nearby where the children enjoy swimming. The spacious garden was a perfect place for relaxation and outdoor activities, offering plenty of room for the kids to play. Inside, the villa is well-equipped with everything you might need. The kitchen is large and well-stocked, although it lacks an oven, which is a minor inconvenience but manageable. There is also a washing machine and a clothesline in the garden, which came in handy during our stay. The beds were comfortable, and the house was impressively large, with a rich history that adds to its charm. The upper floors have creaky wooden floors, which we find endearing rather than bothersome. A bit of oil on the door hinges could prevent some of the squeaking, but it wasn't a major issue. Overall, this villa is a fantastic choice for large groups or families. The owner lives nearby and was incredibly accommodating, adding a personal touch to our stay. We highly recommend this villa for anyone looking to explore the Picos de Europa region while enjoying a comfortable and welcoming home base.
