The best

A beautifully restored and furnished house in an idyllic tranquil rural spot just a short walk from the village of Parada do Sil. Despite what it previously may have said on booking.com there is excellent wifi, and parking is just 25 metres from the house. Many thanks to owner Rita who, with husband Emilio, runs the excellent bar/restaurant in the village. The surrounding area is full of forest walks, and centred on the awe-inspiring Cañon de Sil.8

Very close to nice walking routes, the house is comfortable and complete with nice view of surrounding nature

The best

The apartment is ideally located in the middle of the village. The nearest viewpoint over the Canyon is within easy walking distance. The small garden is very pleasant.

To be improved

It's not the apartment itself, but the village minimarket is very small with a very limited selection (no rice when we were there). The nearest supermarket is about 30 minutes away by car.
