“Fabulous overnight stop on the Camino”

The best

The accomodation was excellent - a beautiful restoration of a family home, to high standards and with everything you would want and expect. Yolanda’s breakfast was the best I have had in Spain. And she gave us recommendations for our onward travel, including an excellent restaurant in Muxia. Absolutely perfect stay.

“Outstanding Camino stop”

The best

Friendly welcome, simple check in, beautiful house and terrace, an owner committed to good service, nice breakfast even though we wanted it a little early. Good collection of neighbourhood cats to play with. Stayed in 42 different places on the Camino and this was probably the best.

“Cons: - Lounge downstairs smelled terrible due to moist. It didn't feel hygienic. It was dusty and not well looked after - The fridge hardly worked - No sink in kitchen to wash dishes - Front door couldn't be locked - Bedroom doors had keys in them but it wasn't possible to pull the key out. So not possible to lock the bedrooms either. It was our impression that it was intentional so keys couldn't get lost (landlord was only available by phone, probably not living close by to solve issues) This is a house where rooms are rented out to different persons. So its unacceptable that doors cant be locked - Very hungry cats were wandering in and out. We bought a big bag of cat biscuits and left a note for the next guests asking them to feed them. - Garden could be nice but was neglected - Hugely overpriced taking into account that it was shared accommodation. We paid € 179 for 2 bedrooms in the house which had 4 bedrooms. As a comparison: In Finistere we had a fantastic apartment to ourselves for € 115.”

“Wonderful, quiet, comfortable stay with exceptional host on the Camino.”

The best

Wonderful, quiet place to stay for a night along the Camino. Yolanda is an exceptional host who makes you feel right at home. Comfortable beds, room, relaxed atmosphere. 5 minute walk down from the Camino. Highly recommend.
