Casa Los Compadres de Capileira con Piscina

Unfortunately this accommodation was disappointing. We had no details for check-in and the host did not speak any English. The daughter helped us after putting a call in but her English was broken and hard to understand. It was stressful. Not too sure why other reviews don’t state that there are zero provisions in the kitchen, no tea or coffee, no drinking water, there is a WM but no powder. For the money you would expect something. There was no supermarket near by to get any provisions either. No welcome pack, nothing about the area or recommendations. It would be the barest and most basic accommodation we have ever stayed in. They list a coffee machine in their amenities but we find a stove top moka pot with no coffee. The place was cold and you had to pay an extra €10 for wood. Bed was small (small double) and rock hard. We had no hot water and the host’s daughter asked for us to go to another property to shower 😳. I really wouldn’t stay here again and I’m sure, for the price, there are better options. We did ask for a 50% refund which they did honour.

Checking in would have been made easier if instructions had been sent before arrival . As it was we struggled to find the right apartment and work out how to get in . Water for shower wasn’t very warm .
