Casa Lupe

We had a wonderful and unique stay at this rooftop apartment in Santa Úrsula. The entire rooftop area was private, offering beautiful views of the mountains and the sea — a perfect place to relax, sunbathe, or simply enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. The outdoor kitchen was really well-equipped with a gas stove, fridge, and sink, and had a great setup for cooking and hanging out. A special touch was the hand-picked selection of wines and beers available for purchase, each with a description — you could just pick a bottle and leave cash in the bowl. It made the whole experience feel even more personal and special. We especially loved having our breakfasts in the outdoor kitchen every morning. The indoor sleeping area and bathroom were both very cozy and comfortable. There’s a supermarket conveniently located just about 50 meters up the hill, and several great guachinches (local Tenerife restaurants) nearby — offering an authentic local experience with fantastic food and wine. Just keep in mind that walking to these places also involves some steep climbs! The apartment is a great base for exploring the north of Tenerife — day trips to places like Anaga National Park, El Teide, local wineries, Puerto de la Cruz, and Santa Cruz are all very doable. Parking was never a problem — we found free spots on the street at different times of the day, but you can also park inside the premises for a small daily fee. Our host, Iván, was really welcoming and helpful. He greeted us personally and was always around if we needed anything. He also has a small garden on the property, so you’ll probably spot him tending to it. Overall, a very special place to stay – we really enjoyed our time there and would happily return!

Exceptional place! The house was super clean and very charming but what deserves the most recognition is the host. The responses were almost immediate, when we arrived we were pleasently surprised by the trust the guests are granted with variety of local specialties displayed in the kitchen for purchase. In the morning we were gifted a beautiful avocado straight from the tree which was the tastiest we've ever had. You can totally sense the passion for running this place, we agreed that the host is definitely the right man at the right place :) Highly recommend this place!
