“Great place to stay in Alicante”

The best

We loved the location of the apartment! It is in the "inner" part of the old town on a quieter street without much vehicle traffic. Also, despite all the lively festivities of the Hogueras de San Joan, with the windows closed, it was pretty quiet inside. The main living areas are nice and bright, and all the beds were very comfortable. It was wonderful having a washer and dryer available, as well as beach mats and umbrellas!

To be improved

Didn't love that you had to go through the second bedroom to be in the third "bedroom". It made that third room feel very closed off.

“Great apartment with good facilities but beware of check in procedure!”

The apartment was lovely with all amenities for our stay and in a great location for city attractions, restaurants, beach and public transport. Great size for 4 adults.

To be improved

Unfortunately I did not receive check in instructions and had to email from departing airport. Reply received on arrival at Alicante. We got to apt about 2.30 ( I had requested a 3pm check in which I thought was agreed ) but could not access the portal online. A neighbour let us into the building but we were unable to gain access via the key code provided in the email. I tried phoning and emailing for over an hour to finally get an email at 3.50pm to be advised that the key code does not work until 4pm ! Three of us tried the portal but at no time over the 3 night stay could we access it. This access system is not mentioned anywhere in the booking details and I spent an anxious hour thinking I had been scammed even ringing booking.com who were also unable to get hold of the hosts ! Having read some other reviews I believe apt is managed by a company who have siesta and therefore are not available between 1-4pm ! Not particularly helpful. Apt is up 2 flights of stairs, no lift, so disabled access would be a problem, again not highlighted in the information.

Excellent localisation, comfortable size of rooms,, good equipment in the apartment (toster, washing machine, cafe machine, beach mats or even umbrellas).

There was a problem with water in a sink in one of bathroom.
