The scenery around the property is beautiful. The outdoor space is great for young kids to enjoy.

To be improved

We did not realize the property manager lives in an apartment in the building and there is another rental in the building. Based on the Booking posting, we expected the whole property to ourselves. Both of the bathrooms smelled faintly of sewage, so we ended up leaving the windows open for the whole stay. While this wasn’t an issue for us, it’s worth noting that the host only speaks Spanish. Given the need for instructions to enter the premise (gated property), this may be a problem for some. It’s clear certain sections of the house have been update while others have not. For the capacity of the house, the kitchen was not very well stocked; the oven is very old and the property manager could not tell us how to operate it. Given the remote location, it seems likely that many people plan to prepare food at the house, so this was disappointing. We only received one set of keys and opener for the gate. This was problematic because we were two families sharing the house and one family had small kids and a dog that required returning to/from the house frequently.
