The location parking is slightly difficult and house has a few steps going down

There are just a few details we want to make people aware of: - when arriving for the first time, the first person had trouble finding the apartment with the booking.com adress provided. The apartment was a bit more up the hill than where we were looking. Maybe the owner should re-check the information provided for arriving. - the bedrooms are rather small and won‘t fit your open luggage if it‘s bigger than hand luggage. Instead, there‘s ample storage space in the closets. - the toilet has a window with open compartments that can‘t be closed, which compromises privacy when you travel with other people. - the outside area which is not covered gets wet when there‘s dew. Once you step from there back to the tiles, they‘re very slippery. - there‘s no safe to lock away valuables that we could find. But to get to the apartment, you have to go through 3 doors, so we felt fairly secure leaving our stuff in the apartment. - the apartment lies in a village up the hill and has no parking next to it. The free parking ‚lot‘ is five mins downhill so you‘ll get a little workout in. But stopping shortly in front of the building and unloading is possible and saves you from carrying your stuff uphill. All in all, these are minor aspects and the value for money in this apartment is amazing!

We did not know that the place was up on a steep hill with no enclosed parking option until we actually got there. Even just unloading the car was quite challenging on a bend while cars were driving up with some speed. The owner texted us a parking option 5 minutes away from the apartment down a hilly slope - quite challenging with the stroller as the walkway is very small and you have to pack your belongings several times. Moreover, if you prefer some privacy, the place could be challenging with the open bathroom and bedroom so that you share quite everything in the coming area with your fellow travelers. Bedrooms do not have a window facing the outside but only towards the living room - so no fresh air at night. The washing machine was molding (big time!) but unfortunately the owner did not take it seriously and tried to deny it. Thank good at least booking was helping us out here after we spent hours at a laundry service.

You need a car if you stay at Casa Miranda, it is pretty up hill
