The breakfast arrived the evening before - fresh out of the oven! A delicious breakfast cake with some local honey, butter and bread - served the evening before with a very warm hearted smile from Marta, the host. She offers it the night before so that we, the holidaying guests, could have it in our own timing. Perfect for us!!

A little bit out of the way, but totally worth the drive. We felt like we were staying at an old friends house, the greeting was so warm and welcoming. And even though we speak no Spanish and they speak little English, we had a delightful time chatting for quite a while!

“Best hosts we have ever had!”

The best

Why does the scale stop at 10 stars? If it was possible, we would have given 15. Our family had an excellent time with Marta and Lolo. So lovely and hospitable people. Marta showed our oldest son the garden, the animals and the dogs. She is a real ambassador of the Sierra de Xurex. She took us for a hiking excursion and invited us for a big dinner party for her name day. The best hosts that we have ever had. It didn't feel like staying in a random apartment. It felt like staying with friends. Thanks so much. We'll definitely come back when we are in the area.
