Casa Mostaza

Parking was a constant headache. Outdoor parking spots were virtually non-existent. The underground garage, typical for the Canaries, is incredibly narrow, but what made it worse was a car consistently parked almost on the line in the adjacent spot throughout our entire stay, making maneuvering even more difficult than it needed to be. The apartment complex itself is a real labyrinth. We did eventually get our bearings after a few days, but it's initially very confusing to navigate. Cleanliness was a major issue. We have a different definition of clean. Every single one of the dishes and utensils in the kitchen was unwashed. However, the absolute worst was the oven. Upon opening it, we discovered an old, moldy pizza box filled with a decomposing pizza. Thousands of small flies swarmed out, and the entire oven was covered in tiny larvae eggs. We did our best to clean it ourselves, as the sheer thought of such creatures in the kitchen was repulsive. Furthermore, the sleeping arrangements were far from ideal. The main bed was uncomfortable and too hard, as was the couch in the living room. The additional sleeping couch in the bedroom, however, was in a league of its own – it felt like sleeping directly on the ground. We've never had an issue with toilet paper supply in any apartment before. For a 9-day stay booked for two adults and two children, we were provided with just one full roll and half a roll of toilet paper. When we inquired with the host, we were dismissed and told we needed to take care of it ourselves. In conclusion, we cannot recommend this apartment. These issues are generally very important to us. We would give it a "sufficient" rating, a 4 out of 10.

So minor, but sunbeds round the pool, however we spent everyday at the beach so didn’t matter at all.
