“Nice house lacking attention to detail”
The best

Bed was comfy, pool area was nice. Good chill out area in the house. Good books with senderos. Toilet were very clean. Views were lovely too.

To be improved

The fridge smelt a bit and the kitchen was not very clean. Oven was not clean and I did not feel comfortable cooking there. Light bulbs missing in some areas and one melted plug in a socket. The place is overpriced for the issues stated. I would not stay there again.

The best

I wish I could give 11/10 for this property. Unbelievable facilities, incredible decor, and the most peaceful, serene surroundings. Jimena is an oasis nestled in the mountains of the cork forest and is the perfect getaway for a family or couple. My father and I were on a nostalgia trip to Spain, reliving his trip in 1982, when he spent 3 months in Jimena, learning Spanish and taking day trips in the area. For him, this house on the edge of the town was just a dream come true. The house itself is two stories, with a complete kitchen with everything you need to cook for yourself, PLUS extra utensils you didn’t know you needed. The beds are comfortable, even the pullout sofa bed with a view overlooking the valley. I got to see the sunrise every morning. I hope to come back one day with my own kids and show them the magic of Jimena de la Frontera. Breathtaking!!

To be improved

Nothing. The ceilings are a little low so if you’re above 2m tall (6ft +), you may need to duck in some areas.

Location, scenic views. Comfortable. Friendly host Syliva met us when we arrived. Everything you needed was there.

Amazing little property, was our perfect mini hideaway. Staff were so sweet and welcoming.

The pool was empty but it's low season and I didn't ask for it to be filled so I can't complain :)
