Casa Narú Albir, duplex appartement met ruim terras en buitenkeuken

location good, 10 minute walk to beach, supermarkets very close, as were restaruants.

The apartment had plenty space for a family of 4 (children 19&15). It was very clean, the kitchen was well equipped and there were plenty towels & bedding available in the apartment.. The beds are wide and comfortable . The showers are modern & no there were problems with hot water or drainage. The decor is very tasteful and contemporary. The dining/ living area is very comfortable. Our late arrival / check in was accommodated by Mariska ( the local agent). The location is on a busy road in Albir and above a restaurant HOWEVER the windows and doors are great quality so traffic noise inside the flat is not an issue. The front door of the property faces the pool area so the little balcony at the front door is very peaceful and sunny. ( lovely for your morning coffee!)We were not especially disturbed by the restaurant, we heard furniture being moved sometimes in the morning (c.9am) when they were setting up for the day. (The restaurant does do a very nice breakfast and has friendly owners!) It is not a late night music bar, there was no disturbance from the restaurant in the evening. (I only mention these aspects as these were my concerns before we went). Buses, trams, shops, restaurants and the beach are all easily accessible by foot. The complex is a mix of resident and holiday flats. Although it seems to be an older complex, the gardens and pool are well maintained and clean. We were there in the week before the Easter weekend and it was very peaceful. The roof terrace is the added bonus , gives the apartment the “villa” feel. It is also very well equipped. Unfortunately our weather wasn’t consistently good but we did manage a few sundowners on the beautiful terrace. It would be lovely on warmer weather. We had a great week at Casa Narú. The best testimony is that we have already recommended it to family and friends and we would love to go back. Thank you.
