The location was perfect, and the apartment was spotless

Beautiful accommodation tastefully decorated and cleverly photographed, spoiled only by the constant smell of curry and fried food vented directly at the balcony by the restaurants on the lower level between the apartment and the marina. No daylight in the second bedroom as the shutters don't tilt and can't be fastened open. This place has obviously been a hospitality suite. The display of coffee pods, different flavours of tea, the 36 glasses and a dozen saucers with no cups kind of gives it away. It only needed a few changes to make it a self catering venue. It's not difficult. Displaying a grubby Woman's Own Casserole cookery book, printed 50 years ago, is not much use considering there are no dishes or pans suitable for use in the oven. Nor is there a grill pan. The nice shiny cooker is all very well but we couldn't use it. Self catering means more than preparing cereal and toast. Even if it did, a two slice toaster is not big enough for four people. The pan set is fine but the two small well used frying pans stick, so no way to sear a steak or tuna. Nothing to make a stir fry. We're in our 70s and don't want to eat out all of the time. We had shopped for some evening meals and ended up having to dispose of the food we couldn't cook. We like to catch up with the news in the evenings and maybe watch an hour's TV which isn't football. Unfortunately we couldn't access any English TV. Natalie and Wolfgang did visit to help but despite being friendly and charming neither knew what to do. So they left and that was the end of that. Good job we brought our own reading matter as apart from the odd travel guide and one novel the books were all either Spanish or German. Sorry to be so negative but come on guys, the price is high enough that we expected better facilities

From the minute we walked through the door it was WOW! Your house is absolutely amazing. Spotlessly clean and the decor was Fabulous. We will definitely stay again. Thank you for letting us stay. Gill, Ronnie and Annie. 😎x

Beautiful apartment with a lovely view which catches the sun most of the day. Rooms are tastefully decorated and large in size. The kitchen has all the necessary facilities and includes a dishwasher. The beds are very comfortable. Photographs of the apartment are accurate, which is nice to see.
