The best

We really appreciated the newly renovated, charming old stone mountain home with a wood stove, modern kitchen and bathroom, great windows and outdoor furniture on a lawn, in a very small village with great bird life, nice walking road, and easy access to a nice town with restaurants. Beaches and mountain hikes were not too far away. Alma was great about meeting us and providing plenty of firewood.

To be improved

While we liked the woodstove, the lack of central heating was a little problematic in May. The woodstove can be used to heat the whole house, but it took us a couple of days to figure it all out (a little more instruction on this would have been good). Also, some fire tongs were needed because a log fell out of the grate once. It was a nice mountain setting but the views were slightly compromised by electric wires and spole lights.
