“Wonderful, would absolutely return!”
We were walking the Camino. This place is right on the Camino which was such a relief after a long day! Wonderfully appointed, comfortable. Beautiful big back yard to enjoy the sun in. Clear directions to check in.
“Loved my stay in this quiet village, off-stage on El Camino!”
Very charming and updated house, with nice garden and covered patio! Enjoyed my large room on first floor next to the shared bathroom (which no one from upstairs came down to use.) Tiny village with nothing except a good cafe just steps away that was open for dinner. Right on the Camino, easy to find and enter. I ate before arriving in Gonzar which has a few good restaurants and albergues. The friendly owner arrived in the late afternoon to make the rounds and make sure we had everything we needed. Was a relaxing place conducive to meeting other pilgrims. Being off-stage, the best part was heading out in the morning with very few pilgrims, idyllic Camino all to myself.
Nothing! Glad I stayed here. Cafe is convenient since no stores.
“An oasis in Castromaior.”
Tired of the crowds from Sarria? This is the perfect stay in a quiet home, on a beautiful plot of land, in a quiet village with nothing more than a bar/restaurant 200 steps away. The perfect location for pilgrims who are tired of loud, annoying albergue stays. Comfortable bed, clean accommodation and friendly staff.
“Nice stay”
The property is right on the Camino trail in a small town. There is a bar down the road where you can have food. The outdoor seating area was lovely. My room was spacious, clean and comfortable.
It was 30 degrees and the sun was beaming in my room. There were no blackout curtains and the owner had no fan. I wasn’t able to cool the room down until the sun was down.
“Great location right on the Camino!”
After a long day of walking Camino, arriving at this clean and comfortable property was very pleasant!
Just a screen on the beautiful big window would’ve helped to keep the flies and mosquitoes out. Otherwise it was a perfect stay!
“Tranquil.”
Rural hamlet, quiet and peaceful. Oliva was very kind in helping us access the room and providing information about the surroundings. Very pleasant stay.
All good
