“We had a good time anyway.”
The best

The location was pretty good & could always park easily outside. The property was clean with good air con & 2 bathrooms. The concierge was helpful.

To be improved

The bed described as a “small” double is actually a short double & we had to sleep the whole 10 days with our feet hanging off the end. Most of the fixtures & fittings were tired & old fashioned & in some cases (the iron for instance was completely black) totally unusable. There are no sunbeds by the pool, you need to bring your own fold up ones, but none were available at the property, also there were tennis courts but no tennis racquets either. Dishwasher didn’t really clean dishes, plates etc were chipped. Towels provided were tiny, old & scratchy, bed linen old & mismatched. Nothing in the kitchen to use, not even salt & pepper or bin bags provided, a few basic provisions such as oil & vinegar & some herbs etc would have gone a long way to sweeten the deal.

The best

The house was lovely, everything you needed was there. We have been to Gran Alacant many times so knew the area well. The lady who met us with the key was amazing, it was pouring down & she had an umberella waiting to help us into the house. I had a senior moment when i couldnt find our passports anywhere & she offered to come & help us liok for them. Nothing was too much trouble for her. We will definitely be back.
