“Rather disappointing.”

Very helpful and friendly host. Secure car parking in the underground garage in a town where parking seems to be very restricted. Direct access to the esplanade and walkable to everywhere - the lighthouse, cafes and shops. The apartment is well equipped although the decor is rather tired and old fashioned.

To be improved

Disappointed that the apartment did not have a sea view (which the photo had suggested) but instead it looked onto the street at one side and into the courtyard of the building at the other. It seemed as if almost all of the other apartments in the building were unoccupied and so it was a bit spooky. There was a lot of noise from the street all evening - cars and motorbikes - and music and singing from the hall across from us … plus the bell being rung (loudly!) at 15 minute intervals. It was a Saturday night and maybe there was a festival or something, but we did not enjoy such a noisy night.
