“Airbnb on Booking - lovely apartment, clean and spacious, great location”

Great apartment in an excellent location—clean, spacious, and a perfect base for exploring Mijas.

To be improved

The only minor downside is that it operates like an Airbnb, which I’ve never experienced on Booking before. Also, guests are expected to take out their own trash—slightly inconvenient when managing luggage and no on-site parking. The daily emails with review prompts also felt a bit much when trying to relax and disconnect.

“Pleasant stay in a beautiful and new apartment.”

The best

The apartment is new and located in a pedestrian area in the center of the village. The host was very friendly, and entry was easy with a code, making late check-in no problem. There are many cozy restaurants, terraces, and nice shops in the area. Mijas Pueblo is a great base for exploring the surroundings.

“Amazing! with some advices for guests”

The best

The apartment is at ground level in a beautiful pedestrian street of Mijas with all the commodities. Its very cozy and brand new. We were welcomed with a bottle of red wine. The apartment has 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom (splitted in shower room and WC room), spacious living/kitchen area and a little patio where you can hang your swimming suits dry. You' re provided with everything you can need: sheets, towels, iron and ironing board, washing machine...even some samples of the capsules for coffee and dishwasher pods so you know which ones to get. The host was super nice sending a whatsapp giving all the needed information fot the stay and for any questions. He was polite and friendly even giving restaurant and parking tips. We finally went to Bar La Pesca, which was a bit further but very cheap and not for tourists. Overall our stay was veeeery good.

To be improved

The accomodation was amazing but... The towels given (1 each) were not enough for our 5 night stay and the washing machine was so loud we were worried we might bother the neighbours. The floors were not clean, our feet were black so I had to mop the very first day. The stovetop is a very cool induction but within the pans and pots given there are only 3 items working on it (1 pan and 2 pots) the other four pans were useless. This has nothing to do with the accomodation but.. Mijas is a very charming small town and during the summer gets pretty crowdy, just park at the parking below the tourism office (not expensive and safe). Free parking is almost impossible, good luck. If you are going to the beach just get the road to Fuengirola starting at Avenida de Méjico (A 387). Otherwise you will find yourself at very bad and steep roads. Waze and Google Maps always take these roads so don't rely much on them.
