“Fantastic location for the days out we had planned to Cadiz, Seville, Ronda, Cordoba & Granada”

The best

Villa was in a great location, beautiful garden and pool, perfect for us. Made good use of outdoor cooking facilities. There was plenty of space for 4 the 4 of us but am sure it would fine for bigger groups, most time was spent outdoors. We used it as a base to visit Cadiz, Seville, Ronda, Cordoba & Granada, so it was perfect for that.

To be improved

There was nothing not to like. If we were ever to come back to this area we would not hesitate to stay here again, so we would definitely recommend it to any one looking for a base to explore Andalucia.

“A beautiful area of Spain to enjoy from this excellently located villa in the countryside.”

The best

The location is excellent and the villa was a good size for 4 of us with 2 teenagers. The rooms were of a good size and the garden was a lovely size too with table and chairs for sitting out and enjoying the sun. Communication with Conchi was excellent and she was always helpful with any queries.

To be improved

The photos give the impression you are alone on site, however this was not the case. There is another rental property on site and the parking area is shared with the family there who were playing football in very close proximity to our rental cars which was not ideal. There is a car mechanical workshop the other side with residents adjacent to the rental property. Therefore, this comes with associated noise. Mostly this was not a huge issue, just unexpected from the description and photos, although we were awoken by the snoring and alarm clock from the adjacent property every day plus their choice of music being played as the walls are quite thin. The villa is fairly well equipped, although maybe a bit tired with a bit of a mish mash of crockery items above 4 people. Beware dog poo in the garden!

“Highly recommended for a rural getaway”

The best

We had a great stay in Casa Rincón de la Abuela María. The property is spacious, with a stunning garden and nice pool in a cozy rural setting, great for families with children. Just a few minutes away from Prado del Rey and right into the Sierra de Grazalema. Some reviews mentioned the road as a nuisance, but we weren't bothered by it. There is plenty to do around and we always had something planned during our two weeks visit. Conchi and Antonio were very attentive and kind hosts. They were helpful, prompt with their responses and generous with their time. We would highly recommend this rural stay, especially if you are a large group as the house works very well for several people.
