“Beautiful apartment right in the middle of where you want to be.”

This apartment was in the perfect location, walking distance to everything, including the Alhambra. And it even had a lovely outdoor space. The hostess Emilia is very helpful and so friendly!

“A nightmare regarding the accomodation. The city is very nice.”

The lady Emilia tried to communicate with us, even she don't speak English. The accomodation is in the old centre of the city very close to the Alhambra. The small yard is nice.

To be improved

The bedroom is infested with bed bugs. After the first night, I discovered blood on the sheet and a lot of bed bugs both on the bed, next to the bed and in the bathroom. The second night (and the last) we slept 2 adults and 2 children on the sofa in the living room. We managed to sleep for 2 hours. It was a nightmare. When I showed her the pictures and videos I sent (also sent via Whatsapp), Emilia was very surprised. But considering that after the incident I saw that a family had reported the same problem in June 2024, and Emilia answered them, I can only believe that she knows how to look surprised. I make it clear that I did not ask her for the money back (I am attaching the conversation as proof), I only asked her to throw away the mattress and disinfect it so that no one else gets the same problem. Besides that, I do not recommend entering this area by car. We have a Renault Megane 4 and there were places where we passed by millimeters. In the end, I parked in a parking lot 7 minutes away on foot. Which when you have luggage and children is a lot.

“Be close to all the action!”

The apartment location is fantastic. It is located in the heart of downtown Granada and is about a 10 minute walk from the entrance to the Alhambra. The host met us in person to explain how to best use the apartment, reviewed a local map with us and gave us very helpful tips about getting around Granada and things to see and do. She is very nice. Easy to reach and responds quickly. Would recommend to anyone who wants an easy way to fully embrace the Granada city center.

To be improved

External noise is unavoidable because the apartment is so near the city center. Also this unit will probably work better for 2 people than 4 people (like we had). It is well equipped but is small (not a big surprise).

“Excellent location, lovely cozy apartment and excellent hostess!”

The best

Emilia was an excellent hostess. She went over everything with us and provided us with a map and lots of info re: Granada. She was delightful! We walked from the apartment to the Alhambra as well because the location was excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed her one bedroom apartment which felt just like a real home and looked like it too. It was very quiet as the lane out front was for foot traffic only. It was January and we were provided with 3 heaters. Very cozy and comfortable, lots of hot water and the apartment was supplied with EVERYTHING we needed. Would highly recommend Emilia's apartment to others!!
